The Club is managed by a Committee consisting of the President, a Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Honorary Treasurer, Honorary Secretary, the Immediate Past Chairman, 5 recent Chairmen (ex-officio), up to eight other members of the Club and the elected Common Councilmen for the Ward (ex-officio members) and any Vice Presidents (ex-officio) that may be elected.
The Chairman is an annual appointment - elected at the Annual General Meeting in May each year. The Chairman is elected from the serving members of the Committee and, amongst other things, is primarily responsible for representing the Club at Civic functions within the City as well as organising the Club's calendar of annual events.
The Alderman for the Ward of Broad Street is automatically an ex officio member and is always President of the Club. Unlike the position of Chairman, the President is not subject to annual election.
